Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy better known by his stage name XXXTentacion was shot and killed June 18 in Deerfield Beach, Florida. It wasn’t the fact that a young man died yesterday that shook the music and media industry but it was the way people responded.
The 20-year-old rapper was known to have beef in the music industry and was struggling with severe depression but Twitter did not take any of that into consideration upon his death.
Many people made fun of the young rappers death because of his homophobic and violent history with women. It seems as if his own crew who was present during his death did nothing to help. Video footage of his lying limp in his car and people were simply recording.

The LGBTQ community did not take his death lightly, using cruel, mean tweets and pictures to celebrate his death, others simply did not forgive his violent past. By no means should this ever be a reason to celebrate someone’s death especially when they have so much time to change.
Back in 2017, Onfroy had been accused of beating his then-pregnant girlfriend and then while in jail he allegedly beat and almost killing a gay male for staring at him for too long.
Although he had his odds within the community the young artist was on his way to making a come back. It had been reported he was coming out of his depression and wanted his music to revolve more around love and being there for the youth.
“I curved him but RIP” the most hilarious type of eulogy https://t.co/0IrQfjtdgv
